MATTIE DIXON

Mattie Dixon, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.

She was born Sept. 13, 1907, in Advance. She first married Robert Starnes, and later married Mr. Dixon.

Dixon had been a sewing machine operator at Ralph Edwards Sportswear and at Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Mary Daniels of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Charles Lance will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 11 a.m. until service time.
