OLMSTED, Ill. -- Matilda S. Taake, 91, of Olmsted died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1993, at her home.
She was born Feb. 20, 1902, at El Paso, Texas, the daughter the Rev. Herman and Kathryn Bloom Huebotter. On Dec. 20, 1925, she married Oliver John Taake, who preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1968.
She was a life-long member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Olmsted and a past member of the Magnolia Garden Club.
Survivors include a son, Oliver J. Taake Jr. of Olmsted; a sister, Ruth Kibbons of Kankakee, Ill.; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin and after 9 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Olmsted, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Steve Rasmussen will officiate, and burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
