MATILDA MEYER

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Matilda M. Meyer, 91, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Perryville, daughter of Theo and Helen Buchheit Wibbenmeyer. She and Elmer F. Meyer were married Nov. 22, 1934, at Perryville.

Meyer had worked at International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, John, James and Clarence "Bobby" Meyer, all of Perryville; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, four brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake is at 6 tonight, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Maurus Catholic Church at Biehle, Mo. The Rev. Mark Bozada will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
