Mary Ann Zoellner, 76, of Jackson, passed away on August 13, 2024. Known for her exceptional cooking and love of plants, Mary is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation and services will be held on August 16 at McCombs Funeral Home.

Mary Ann Zoellner, 76, of Jackson, formerly of Perryville, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Life Care Nursing Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 11, 1948, in Perry County, the daughter of the late Arthur Albert and Evelyn Marie Eichorn Turnbough.

Mary will be fondly remembered for her gift of cooking exceptional meals and baking delicious pies and desserts and her love of plants and flowers, "Wheel of Fortune" and mushroom hunting when younger.

Loving survivors include her children, Ronald (Nancy) Zoellner of Perryville, Cindy (Vade) Mansker of Jackson, Jeff (Jamie) Zoellner of Blacksburg, Virginia, and Steve (Angie) Zoellner of St. Peters; two sisters, Joyce Reimer and Bonnie (Neil) Geringer; 10 grandchildren, Greg (Cheryl) Zoellner, Jessica (Walt) Ruesler, Natasha (Nick) Aurich, Kadasha (Jacob) Ritter, Mason, Tanner, Brooke, Dillon, Kylee and Ashlyn Zoellner; 12 great-grandchildren, Landon, Hazel, Harlan, Colt, Corbin, Karston, Morgan, Addison, Stratton, Daxton, MaKynlie and Drake; and special friend, Dan Shriver.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Brenda Sue Turnbough, Carol Wahlers and Janet (Clarence “Bobby”) Meyer; three brothers, Kenneth Turnbough, James “Doc” Turnbough and Glen (Anna Dean) Turnbough; and stepgrandson, Bolden Bollinger.

The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 16, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Graham officiating.

Burial is private.

The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
