Mary Wood

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mary Bernice Wood, 72, of Chaffee died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

She was born Feb. 28, 1930, at Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Albert Gustess Jackson and Pearlie May Thrasher Miller. She married Joseph Wood. He died Feb. 6, 1983.

She was a machine operator retired from Florsheim Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two sons, Gary L. Wood of Chaffee and Rick Keesee of Coco Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Deborah Gramlisch of Chaffee; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Friends may call from noon until 12:45 Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee. The Rev. Robert Trankle will officiate.
