ULLIN, Ill. -- Mary Wood, 84, of Ullin, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1991, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton, Ky. She was born Feb. 19, 1907, in Galesburg, daughter of John H. and Cora Vick Young. She married Ollie Wood, who died in 1972. Survivors include two daughters, Helen Williams of Paducah, Ky., Edith Payne of Ozark, Ala.; a son, Delbert Wood of Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Thelma Mann of Champaign; nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren...

ULLIN, Ill. -- Mary Wood, 84, of Ullin, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1991, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton, Ky.

She was born Feb. 19, 1907, in Galesburg, daughter of John H. and Cora Vick Young. She married Ollie Wood, who died in 1972.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Williams of Paducah, Ky., Edith Payne of Ozark, Ala.; a son, Delbert Wood of Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Thelma Mann of Champaign; nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Greg Forbus will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Saturday.
