ANNA, Ill. -- Graveside service for Mary L. Wood of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Anna Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Wilkinson will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.

Wood, 81, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at Northwest Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

She was born Dec. 2, 1919, in Anna, daughter of Charles and Minnie Norris Vaughn. She and Orba O. Wood were married Oct. 11, 1944, in Piggott, Ark. He died Dec. 31, 1989.

Wood attended Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy Lietz and Trudy Bowman of Spring, Texas; three brothers, Stanley Vaughn of Indianapolis, Ind., Ray Vaughn of Cobden, Ill., Harold Vaughn of Carbondale, Ill.; two sisters, Jean Halbin and Peggy Claxton of Anna; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
