MARY WILKERSON

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Mary Jean Wilkerson, 35, of Sikeston died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at her home.

She was born July 8, 1965, at Hayti, Mo., daughter of Everett E. "Gene" Morefield and Mary F. Burke Morefield. She and Tim Wilkerson were married March 16, 1991.

She had worked as a certified nurse's aide.

She attended Church on the Rock in Sikeston.

Survivors include her parents of Sikeston; her husband of Sikeston; two sons, Jason and Bobby Wilkerson, of the home; a brother, Michael Morefield of Sikeston; three sisters, Angela Hammon of Delavan, Wis., Tracy Johnson of Strawberry, Ark., and Sandra Morefield of Sikeston; her maternal grandmother, Mary Etheridge of Bridgeman, Mich.; and her paternal grandmother, Bea Fox of Portageville, Mo.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Buddy Hannah and Curtis True officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Mo.
