MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Mary Alice Henry Wheeler, 75, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, in an automobile accident near Springfield, Mo.
She was born Jan. 9, 1925, at Creve Coeur, Mo., daughter of Edward L. and Mary Amelia Frances Roller Zanzie. She and Paul B. Henry were married May 13, 1944. He died May 12, 1991. She later married Nathan Wheeler, who also died in the same automobile accident.
Wheeler was an artist, and a member of Marble Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pam Strong of Marble Hill, Gale Nappier of Bethalto, Ill.; a sister, Gertrude Fornshell of Shelbina, Mo.; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Shepherd Hill Cemetery at Barnhart, Mo.
