SIKESTON -- Mary V. Parret, 75, 851 Tanner Street, died Saturday, March 26, at the Sikeston Health Care Center.
She was born July 25, 1918 in Benton, Mo., to the late Richard M. and Ella Laura Cannon Williams.
She was a member of the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston. She was also a waitress at the El Capri Restaurant in Sikeston. She was married to Austin H. Parret on June 14, 1968 in Sikeston. He preceded her in death April 21, 1993.
Surivors include a son, Richard Evans of Sikeston, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, six brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, March 28. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Carl Addison, Pastor of the Tanner Street Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
