ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Mary Shaddrick of Springfield will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Richard Sullins will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home prior to service.

Shaddrick, 84, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 15, 1915, in Anna, daughter of George Duffy and Laura Jane Hood Leird. She married Lawrence Shaddrick, who preceded her in death.

Shaddrick retired from the Secretary of State's Office in Springfield.

Survivors include a sister, Laura Willis of Springfield.
