PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Helen Sebaugh, 100, of Perryville, formerly of Daisy, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center in Perryville.
She was born Sept. 16, 1909, in Morley, Mo., daughter of Amos Cleveland and Dora Mae Mull Evans. She first married Harold W. Anthony on May 3, 1945. He died Nov. 4, 1976. She then married Pervis Sebaugh on June 19, 1979. He died March 29, 1999.
Mary taught school in Scott, Cape Girardeau and St. Louis counties and also in Henderson County, Ky.
She was a member of Sargent's Chapel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Jane R. Miller of Ballwin, Mo., and Cathie Gay Arrandale of Grand View, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Ruth Jurick of Parker, Texas, and Martha Holler of Perryville; three stepsons, Daniel Sebaugh of Daisy, James Sebaugh of Hillsboro, Mo., and Ted Sebaugh of Cedar Hills, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown, Mo.
