Mary Ross

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mary Ross, 54, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 26, 1949, in New Madrid County, Mo., daughter of Harry and Helen Young Burns. She married James Ross.

Ross was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Paulina Flynn of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Joe Brown of Yuma, Ariz., Elmer Burns of Sikeston, Mo., Hurbert Burns of Lexington, Mo., Leon Crumb of Qulin, Mo.; two sisters, Marie Muhls of Sikeston and Carolyn Shumpert of Qulin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at House of Prayer after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Dave McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Ross Cemetery.
