JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Paukert of Jonesboro will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Elco United Methodist Church. The Revs. Garnett Mitchell and Mark Canada will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
Friends may call at Norris and Son Funeral Home here after 6 p.m. today, and then at the church Thursday from 11 a.m until time of service.
Mrs. Paukert, 62 years old, died Monday, Jan. 14, 1991, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Sept. 17, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Elsie Cauble Bruenig. She married Jerome Paukert, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Paukert was a private nurse's aide.
Survivors include a daughter, Roxanna Joyner of Cairo; a son, Guy Paukert of Jonesboro; her mother, Elsie Dillow of Jonesboro; a sister, Catherine Schmidtke of Des Plaines; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
