NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Mary M. Menz, 73, of New Hamburg died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at her home.
She was born April 30, 1931, in St. Louis, daughter of Frank and Minnie Eftink Arnzen. She and Gilbert T. Menz were married June 29, 1957.
Menz was a machine operator at Carter Carburetor in St. Louis and retired as main housekeeper at Howard Johnson in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality and New Hamburg Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Raymond Arnzen of Kelso, Mo.; two sisters, Marcella Troxclair of Broussard, La., and Dorothy Glaus of Chaffee, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Thursday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
