MARY MCLAIN

PERRYVILLE -- Mary Corine Jannin McLain, 92, of Perryville, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born May 11, 1906, daughter of Marcellus and Mary Louise Siefert Jannin.

On Oct. 20, 1925, she married Paul J. McLain. He died Nov. 10, 1997.

She is survived by two sons, Robert McLain of Perryville and Joseph Virda McLain of St. Charles; four daughters, Mary Lucille McLain, Rose Lawrence Geile, Rita Duvall and Anna Cissell, all of Perryville; two brothers, Lester and Vince Jannin, both of Perryville; three sisters, Mary Gibbar, Alma Anderson and Gladys Gibbar, all of Perryville; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Two children and several grandchildren preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young & Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating.
