Mary E. Berry Marks, 67, of Rock Falls, Ill., died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at St. Louis University Hospital.
She was born July 28, 1933, in Sullivan, W.V., daughter of Richard and Goldie Lilly Bragg. She and Leburn Berry were married Aug. 19, 1953, in Rock Falls. He died Aug. 14, 1993. She then married James R. Marks Feb. 15, 2000.
She was a beautician for many years, working at Steel Magnolias in Sterling, Ill., until her death. She was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sharon Burgard of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Phil Berry of Cape Girardeau and Duane Berry of Olathe, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Tanya Brooks of Dixon, Ill., and Tamera Blair of Dallas, Texas; two stepsons, James Marks and Scott Marks, both of Rock Falls; six brothers, Leslie Bragg of Waverly, Ky., Clarence Bragg of Beckley, W.V., Dan Bragg of Old Fort, N.C., Don Bragg of Tulsa, Okla., Wesley and Cletus Bragg, both of Beckley; three sisters, Glenna Allmon of Lyndon, Ill., Crystal Butler of Paducah, Ky., and Nellie Kovach of Beckley; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and four stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park.
