Mary Mansker

ORAN, Mo. -- Mary Mansker, 60, of Oran passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Ill.

She was born April 27, 1953, in Chaffee, Mo., to Orval and Josia Mae Lee Canady Carter. She married Kenneth R. "Bulldog" Mansker on Sept. 11, 1973.

Mary was a home care provider with White and Associates Home Assistance in Sikeston, Mo. She was a member of Lighthouse Church in Morley, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of the home; her mother, Josia Mae Lee Cooper of Jasper, Ark.; a son, Kenneth Rodney Mansker of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Angela Martinez of Oran, Elizabeth "Beth" (Craig) Hahn of Randles, Mo.; three brothers, Johnny Cooper, Rocky Carter and Gary Cooper, all of Jasper; five sisters, Patsy Rollinson of Western Grove, Ark., Sheila Villens of Jasper, Ruthie McCleod of Doniphan, Mo., Leta McCollough of Dexter, Mo., and Laura Carter of Viola, Ark.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her father, Orval Carter; two brothers, Tim Jimenez and David Carter; and a sister, Susie Ladd.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel. The Rev. Debra Russell will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Don Estes. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley.
