FRIEDHEIM -- Mary M. Wilke, 76, of Friedheim, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Highland, daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Werth Clements. She and Arthur L. Wilke were married Feb. 21, 1943. Wilke had been a cook at Friedheim School and housekeeper at Jackson Manor. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim and its Ladies Aid, and Republican Committee Women...

FRIEDHEIM -- Mary M. Wilke, 76, of Friedheim, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Highland, daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Werth Clements. She and Arthur L. Wilke were married Feb. 21, 1943.

Wilke had been a cook at Friedheim School and housekeeper at Jackson Manor. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim and its Ladies Aid, and Republican Committee Women.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Edna Neislein of Chester, Ill., Leona Kester of Friedheim, Bernice Meyer of Ellis Grove, Ill.; a son, Glenn Wilke of Friedheim; five brothers, Edgar, George and Oscar Clements of Perryville, Wilbert and Kellie Clements of Biehle; two sisters, Catherine Besand of Perryville, Mae Propst of Sedgewickville; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 3-9 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to noon. A prayer service will be held at 7 Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
