MARY M. PALMER

Mary M. Palmer, 56, 716 Locust, died Saturday, July 17, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 12, 1937, at Rockview, daughter of George W. and Cora Jane Williams Glasscock. She and James E. Palmer were married April 4, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.

Palmer attended Southeast Missouri State University two years. She was an inspector at Thorngate Ltd. in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church at Gravel Hill, and Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Harold Palmer of Whitewater; three brothers, Harold Glasscock of Scott City, Ralph and William Glasscock of Cape Girardeau; two half brothers, Aaron Proffer of Scott City, Bobby Proffer of Peoria, Ill., and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lloyd Engelmann will officiate, with burial in Lessley Ridge Cemetery on Highway 34 near County Line Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
