Mary Lynch
Mary L. Lynch, 79, of Jackson died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 11, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Stanley and Marcella Scherer Robinson. She and Donald E. Lynch were married on Dec. 24, 1948 in Cape Girardeau. Donald E. Lynch passed away Feb. 13, 1992.
Mary worked for the telephone company in Cape Girardeau in her early years. Later she was manager of the Plaid Stamp Store in Cape Girardeau. She was also owner and manager of a Spanish import shop called Mar-Don Imports in Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral. She was active in the breast cancer support groups.
She is survived by a son, Donald T. Lynch of Fenton, Mo.; two daughters, Barbara Lynch of Scott City and Ann Lynch-Brenyas and son-in-law Joe Brenyas of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Judith Eaker of Chaffee, Mo.; a granddaughter, Trisha Lynch of Pocahontas; and an aunt, Anita Greer of Joliet, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Christopher Lynch.
Friends may call at from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
