PERRYVILLE -- Mary "Levia" Brewer, 97, of Perryville, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1991, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 24, 1894, in Perry County, daughter of George and Mary Moore Pittman. She married R. Emmit Brewer Jan. 30, 1914. He died June 29, 1938...

PERRYVILLE -- Mary "Levia" Brewer, 97, of Perryville, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1991, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 24, 1894, in Perry County, daughter of George and Mary Moore Pittman.

She married R. Emmit Brewer Jan. 30, 1914. He died June 29, 1938.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish, the Western Catholic Union and the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors are sons, Melvin and Robert Brewer, both of Perryville; a sister, Theresia McDonald, Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass was conducted Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church by the Rev. Henry Grodecki. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements.
