Mary L. Thompson, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 24, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born on April 21, 1921, at Jackson, daughter of Charles and Grace Howard Webb.
She was a retired EKG technician and a member of Cape Bible Chapel and the Cape Bowling League.
She and Richard Thompson were married for 40 years. He died in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Ainsworth and Terri Snider of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bill Webb of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Daisy Strong of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, four sisters and two brothers.
There will be no public visitation.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
