VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Mary Lou Koonce, 84, of Villa Ridge passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 21, 1930, in Cairo, Illinois, daughter of Lorraine L.C. "Bugs" and Vera E. Grey Koonce. VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Mary Lou Koonce, 84, of Villa Ridge passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 21, 1930, in Cairo, Illinois, daughter of Lorraine L.C. "Bugs" and Vera E. Grey Koonce.
Mary Lou was a member of the Christian Community Ministries Church of Villa Ridge, and attended Shiloh Baptist Church of Villa Ridge.

Survivors include a brother, William F. "Bill" Koonce of Villa Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Louis C. "Jim" Koonce.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ralph Kaufman, Larry Miller and Jack Wilson officiating.
