MARY JONES

URBANDALE, Ill. -- Mary Elizabeth Jones, 66, of Urbandale, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 8, 1929, in Waterloo, Ala., daughter of Millard and Emma Whittset Scott. She married Roy Jones, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Taylor of Mound City; six sons, Dennis and Don Jones of Mound City, John and Kenny Jones of Urbandale, Roy Jones of Wickliffe, Ky., Bobby Jones of Mounds; her mother of Waterloo, Ala.; five sisters, Geraldine Blackburn of Central, Ala., Bobby High of Rhodesville, Ala., Emma Robbins, Dorothy McGee and Peggy Michael, all of Waterloo, Ala.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ernest Browning officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
