Mary M. Joiner, 72, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 29, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Omer and Mae Grieb Niswonger. She and Larry D. Joiner were married Nov. 22, 1958, in Cape Girardeau.
Mary lived in Cape Girardeau her entire life, attended the former College High School, and worked at Harris Truck and Trailer many years.
Loving survivors include her husband of 56 years, Larry; a daughter, Debby Reisenbichler and husband Jay of Cape Girardeau and their daughter Christie Reisenbichler of Jackson; a brother, John Niswonger of St. Cloud, Florida; and a sister, Dorothy Mecum of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Paul, Omer Jr., Lester and Chester; and a sister, Paula Luce.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ted Torreson officiating. Interment will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
