KARNAK, Ill. -- Mary Virginia Jarrett, 86, of Paragould, Ark., and formerly of Karnak, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
She was born July 12, 1914, in Karnak, daughter of Hosea and Anna Russell Eastwood. She married Jack Jarrett.
She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Karnak.
Survivors include a daughter, Joann Amorine of Paragould; two sons, Jerry Jarrett and Dan Jarrett, both of Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, Edwin Eastwood and Bob Eastwood, both of Karnak; a sister, Trecia Womack of Ypsilanti, Mich.; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and a daughter.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church of Karnak, with the Rev. J.R. Wood officiating. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery at Cypress, Ill.
