She was born Nov. 27, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of W.E. and Elsie Davis. She and Fred D. Kohler were married Feb. 19, 1966, in Cape Girardeau. Kohler received a degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree from the University of Colorado...

She was born Nov. 27, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of W.E. and Elsie Davis. She and Fred D. Kohler were married Feb. 19, 1966, in Cape Girardeau.

Kohler received a degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree from the University of Colorado.

She taught Spanish at Gateway High School in Aurora. She was a Cultural Exchange participant. Her interests included foreign travel.

Survivors include her husband, Fred; two daughters, Kathryn of Atlanta, Ga., Caroline Pickerill of Aurora; her mother, Elsie Davis, of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Jerry and Phillip Davis of Cape Girardeau; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father following a three-year battle with cancer.

Graveside service was held Sept. 26 at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
