SIKESTON, Mo. -- Mary Jackson, 82, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born May 8, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Phillip and Caroline Strack. She and Z.T. Jackson were married June 1, 1940.
Jackson had been a waitress at Lambert's Cafe and El Capri Motel. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ed Jackson of Holts Summit, Mo.; a daughter, Sharon Statler of Millington, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.
