MARY J. RICHARDS

PORTAGEVILLE -- Mary Josephine Richards, 57, of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, died Wednesday, March 23, 1994, in Horseshoe Bay.

She was born Aug. 1, 1936, in Portageville, daughter of John and Josephine Glastetter Eftink. She married Gus Richards in 1959, at Portageville.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Angela Schielicher of Plano, Texas, and Alisa Macora of Houston, Texas; a son, Dan Richards of Georgetown, Texas; four brothers, Fred Eftink of Quincy, Ill., Albert Eftink of Chaffee, Arthur Eftink of Oran, Robert Eftink of Portageville; two sisters, Irene Brands of Portageville, Sister Nora House of Nazareth of St. Louis, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville after 3 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church. The Rev. Roger Leveillee will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Sauer. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
