MARY IDA GLUECK

NEW HAMBURG -- Marie Ida Glueck, 74, of New Hamburg died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at the Lutheran Home at Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 4, 1926, at New Hamburg, daughter of Leo Jacob and Emeline Josephine Urhahn Menz. She and Joseph A. Glueck were married May 14, 1951. He died Oct. 22, 1979.

Glueck was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality and the New Hamburg Senior Citizens.

Survivors include five sons, Anthony and Franklin Glueck of New Hamburg, Paul Glueck of Kelso, Bill Glueck of Benton and Steve Glueck of Scott City; two daughters, Pat Arnzen of Jackson and Kathy Lange of Kelso; a brother, Cletus Menz of New Hamburg; a sister, Arabella Kluesner of New Hamburg; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with the Revs. Normand Varone and James Seyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.
