Mary Ann Howell, 70, of Jackson died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at her home.
She was born June 14, 1946, in Greenwood, Mississippi, to Edward F. and Mary C. Lewis Cox.
She and Donal D. Howell were married Saturday, Sept. 15, 1973, at St. Louis. He passed away Oct. 18, 2012.
Mary was owner/operator of Domaco in Fredericktown, Missouri, an industrial sewing company. She retired in 2015 and moved to Jackson.
Survivors include a son, Robert D. Hurt of Jackson; a daughter, Carrie L. Hurt of Jackson; two sisters, Rachell E. Ragan, whom she raised, of Swansea, Illinois, and Sandra K. McClung of West Virginia; a brother, Charles Richard Cox of Kentucky; and two grandchildren, Brian S. Radford and Megan D. Radford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and a sister.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with Dr. Grant F.C. Gillard officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
