Mary Hoornstra

Mary Ann Hoornstra, 70, of Gordonville passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 13, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, to Frank S. and Mary Obermiller Fisher.

Mary worked many years as a visiting nurse aide through Southeast Hospital.

Loving survivors include John Simmons of Gordonville, whom she raised as a son; two sisters, Charlotte (George) Munro of Parma, Mich., and Cora Lea (Bill) McGhee of Leslie, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Frank Fisher.

A graveside service will be at noon Monday at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating.
