PERKINS, Mo. — Mary Jane Hircock, 79, of Perkins passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at Douglas County Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Iona Harris Pierce. Mary retired in 2004 as a coordinator for AT&T. She then moved to Perkins with her husband, Martin Hircock. She was a member of Perkins Baptist Church...

PERKINS, Mo. — Mary Jane Hircock, 79, of Perkins passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at Douglas County Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Iona Harris Pierce.

Mary retired in 2004 as a coordinator for AT&T. She then moved to Perkins with her husband, Martin Hircock. She was a member of Perkins Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Pierce; two stepsons, Brian Hircock and Chad Hircock; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Perkins Baptist Church in Perkins.

A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the church. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
