CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mary Camille Hindman, 82, of Chaffee died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 2, 1925, at Chaffee, daughter of Harvey and Jessie Marie Litzelfelner Burnett. She and Joseph Scheeter were married Aug. 19, 1944. He died Feb. 26, 1964. She and Kenneth Hindman were married Nov. 28, 1968.
Hindman was employed by the Chaffee Nursing Center and was a retired dietitian. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. Hindman was a member of the Daughters of St. Ambrose and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chaffee American Legion.
Survivors include her husband of Chaffee; three sons, John Scheeter of Jacksonville, Fla., David Scheeter of San Jose, Calif., Dennis Scheeter of Chaffee; a daughter, Joan Scheeter of Chicago; a brother, Jim Burnett of Miles City, Mont., a sister, Betty Kennedy of Alexandria, Va.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Duffer officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
