Mary Helen Sander, 67, of 1340 W. Cape Rock Drive, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1993, at the St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 3, 1926, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of James E. and Prudence McClard Cotner.
She married Robert Sander, Sept. 23, 1950, at Piggott, Ark.
She retired from Florsheim Shoe Company, after 21 years of employment.
She was a member of the Red Star Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David Sander of Arnold, Mo.; four brothers, Virgil A. Cotner and Harvey Cotner, both of Cape Girardeau, Earl Cotner of Scott City, Jimmy Cotner of St. Charles, Mo.; three sisters, Beulah "Boots" Loucks, Evelyn Snyder and Margaret Wilson, all of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Cy Smith and the Rev. Alan Berry officiating.
Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
