Mary June Hawn, 85, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, June 13, 1996, at the Lutheran Home. She was born June 23, 1910, in Columbia, Ill., daughter of Robert R. and Zeruah Johnson Cruse. She and Pete E. Hawn were married Jan. 3, 1929, in Bush, Ill. He died March 8, 1984...

Mary June Hawn, 85, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, June 13, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born June 23, 1910, in Columbia, Ill., daughter of Robert R. and Zeruah Johnson Cruse. She and Pete E. Hawn were married Jan. 3, 1929, in Bush, Ill. He died March 8, 1984.

Hawn owned and operated Aunt June's Day-Time Nursery more than 20 years. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Bob Hawn of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Phil Curran officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
