Mary Alice Haman, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1911, at Seventy-Six, Mo., daughter of Albert L. and Mary Elizabeth Farrar Swan. She and Cletus "Pete" Childers were married in 1940. He died in 1963. She and Lawrence Haman were married in 1965. He died in 1980.
Haman had worked for Ralph Edwards Sportswear as a machine operator for 10 years. She was educated at Union School in Seventy-Six.
Survivors include a sister, Roberta Cotner of Cape Girardeau; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with Walter Joe Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
