CAIRO, Ill. -- Mary Leota Groce, 68, of Wickliffe, Ky., died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born at Anniston, Mo., daughter of Brad and Lucille Coffer. She married Jack H. Groce.
Groce was a licensed practical nurse, and retired recently from a physician's office in Cape Girardeau. She was formerly of Cairo and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Jill Haddox of Cassville, Mo.; a son, Greg Houston of Jeffersonville, Ind.; three brothers, Henry Coffer of Charleston, Mo., Charles Coffer of Wickliffe, Larry Coffer of East Prairie, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge, Ill., with Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating.
