MORLEY, Mo. -- Mary Evelyn Garner, 68, of Morley died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 10, 1946, in Cape Girardeau daughter of Andrew "Andy" and Betty Dee Bruihl Matz. She and Charles Garner were married Oct. 18, 1974.
Mary was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge and the Eagles in Sikeston, Mo. She was a bookkeeper at SEMO Electric before retiring.
Survivors include her husband and her father of Morley.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jim Matthews, pastor of Cape County Cowboy Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery at Oak Ridge.
