MARY FRIESE RENDLEMAN

ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Mary Friese Rendleman, 90, of Alto Pass, Ill., died Friday, Feb. 16, 1996, at the Nature Trail Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, Ill.

She was born Oct. 13, 1905, at Alto Pass, daughter of William A. and Ellen Finch Friese. She and James J. Rendleman were married Nov. 4, 1932, at Anna, Ill. He died Dec. 9, 1979.

Rendleman and her husband had owned Rendleman Orchards in Alto Pass. She taught in several Union County schools. She graduated from the Southern Illinois Normal School. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Alto Pass.

Survivors are a daughter, Nancy Musick of Mount Vernon; a sister, Adelaide Jones of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Russell Friese of Anna; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Gilbert Gee will officiate, with burial in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
