Mary F. Evans, 88, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Advance, Missouri, daughter of Frank and Edith Humphrey Farrar.
Mary was a member of Advance First Baptist Church. She was an active bowler, enjoyed fishing and traveling, and loved the St. Louis Cardinals, birds and dogs.
Mary and Orbie Evans were married in Arkansas. He preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1989
Survivors include a son, Bill Farrar of Spring, Texas; a brother, Billy Farrar of Rolla, Missouri; three sisters, Alice Ketcher of Cape Girardeau, Vedralee Minton of Katy, Texas, and Jane Hendrichsen of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating and the Rev. Jack Ketcher assisting. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
