Mary Francis Duff, 80, of Cape Girardeau and Portageville, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at her home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 29, 1923, at Portageville, daughter of Steve and Emma Roberts Durbin. She and William "Charlie" Duff were married Nov. 30, 1940. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 2003.
Mrs. Duff was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Portageville, and St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Norma and Robert "Bob" Carter of Portageville, Rita and Russ Friedewald of Riverton, Ill., Teresa and Bill LeGrand of Kelso, Mo., Kim and Dwight Tanksley of Cape Girardeau; another son-in-law, James Blowers of Lexington, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Lawanda Blowers; two sisters, Carolyn Douglas and Clara Durbin; and an infant grandchild.
Friends may call at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville after 5 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Eustachius Church, with the Rev. Allen Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Eustachius School.
