CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Mary Ellen Davis, 21, of Memphis, Tenn., died suddenly Sunday, March 25, 2001, at her home.
She was born Feb. 27, 1980, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of Bernard E. and Mary Davis.
Davis attended schools in Charleston, Cairo, Ill., and graduated from a Memphis high school. She was a student at Concorde Career Institute in Memphis.
Survivors include a son, Keyvion Davis of the home; her father of Wyatt, Mo.; her mother of Memphis; five sisters, Angel Henderson and Melonie Davis of Memphis, Santheresa Brown of Louisville, Ky., Laytoya Ware of Sikeston, Mo., Briannia Davis of Detroit; maternal grandmother, Mary McCoy of Cairo; paternal grandparents, Lee Morris and Johnnie Davis of Wyatt.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cairo High School. Major Clark and Rodrick Tucker will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
Friends may call at the high school Sunday from noon until service time.
