BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- Mary A. Davis, 91, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 28, 1919, at Senath, Mo., daughter of Bailey Simpson and Lena Katy Parker Edwards. Mary and Arthur Zeno Green were married Sept. 14, 1935, at Kennett, Mo. He preceded her in death March 9, 1968. She later married Roy Woodrow Davis March 27, 1970, at Zalma, Mo. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1982.
Mary was a member of Brush Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Arthur Dewayne Green of Sturdivant, Mo.; two daughters, Mary Joyce Day and Loraine Laverne Hampton of Advance; a brother, Jessie Edwards of Rockwell, Ark.; a sister, Elwanda Beatrice Huffines of Paragould, Ark.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ronnie Winchester officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
