PADUCAH, Ky. -- Mary Bornemann Cossairt, 85, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Paducah, Ky. She was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Stoddard County, Mo., daughter of Albert and Ada George Bornemann. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ralph W. Cossairt, who died in 2003; a brother, Loyd Bornemann; and sisters, Wilmoth Moore and Cleo Cooper...

PADUCAH, Ky. -- Mary Bornemann Cossairt, 85, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Paducah, Ky.

She was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Stoddard County, Mo., daughter of Albert and Ada George Bornemann.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ralph W. Cossairt, who died in 2003; a brother, Loyd Bornemann; and sisters, Wilmoth Moore and Cleo Cooper.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Andre) Whitley; a granddaughter, Pam (Ronald) Farmer; great-grandchildren, Renee' Register and Josh and Anita Farmer, all of North Carolina; a sister, Lora Lee Eaker of Cape Girardeau; and loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Paducah and a longtime employee of Southside Wal-Mart in Paducah.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo., with the Rev. Jay Cottman officiating.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Point Cemetery.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Paducah.
