Mary Belle Clippard, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, July 16, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 9, 1905, in Union Town, Ky., daughter of Ernest and Nora Pike Williams.
She married Ennis W. Clippard. He died Dec. 25, 1979.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and St. Mary's CCW. She was also a member of Wipperwills card club and a past member of Daughters of Isabella.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Clippard of Columbus, Ohio, and Milford Clippard of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Mary Ann Sarro of Forest Hills in Queens, N.Y., and JoEllen Haas of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Gertrude Pixley of Cape Girardeau, Anetta Varble of Puxico, Augusta Williams of Republic and Eleanor Bridwell of Sikeston; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
