CAIRO, Ill. — Mary Frances Brinkmeyer, 83, of Cairo died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Daystar Care Center.
She was the daughter of Louis Harvey and Mary Adams Wooldriege. She married Leonard Brinkmeyer, who preceded her in death.
She was a lifelong resident of Cairo and graduate of Cairo High School. She was a charter member of Cairo Junior Women's Club, member of Xi Beta sorority, First United Methodist Church and later affiliated with Tigert Memorial United Methodist Church.
Brinkmeyer was a longtime employee of McKesson-Robbins Drug Co., which later became Delta Wholesale.
Survivors include four nieces, Kay Williams of Hendersonville, Tenn., Shirley Williams of Searcy, Ark., Angie Waters of Paducah, Ky., Lydia Caroll of Ballard, Ky., and two nephews, Thomas Langan of Washington, D.C., and Lawrence Langan of Bardstown, Ky.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
