Mary Margaret Billingham, 93, of St. Louis died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004.
She was born Feb. 15, 1911, in Jackson, daughter of Silas and Mamie Bauer Crole.
Billingham received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University, and did graduate work at Washington University, Webster College, Maryville University, and Denver College.
She began her teaching career with Oak Ridge School District in 1930, and retired from Brentwood Public Schools in 1976. She was a member of many national and local professional organizations.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Crole of Jackson, and a sister, Maxine Gladfelter of Warrensburg, Mo.
Friends may call at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood, Mo., from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and after 10 a.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McCombs, with the Rev. John Rice officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
