MARY BERTHA THOMURE

PERRYVILLE -- Mary Bertha Thomure, 86, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 19, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 3, 1909, at Silver Lake, daughter of Simon A. and Mary A. Brewer Tucker.

On April 27, 1938, she married Herschel W. Thomure. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1977.

She is survived by three sons, Leroy, Harold and Dave Thomure, all of Perryville; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake.

Friends may call today from 3 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Church, with the Rev. Charles Rice officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
